#4 - Fashion Reporter's Language

In this industry, it is vital that you are up-to-date on all vocabulary and language. It can take your blog entries to another level, enabling the reader to visualize what you are talking about. A great blog about all things fashion is "On the Runway." Cathy Horyn in particular, uses her distinct language and honesty to describe to the reader what she likes and what she doesn't, showing both, the negative and positive aspects of fashion.

  1. This is a great blog post by Cathy Horyn. She is so descriptive you don't even need the pictures! I think you did really well with finding the important pieces of language she uses. It is very detailed; I definitely get an idea of what the show was all about.

  2. Yes! I love Cathy Horyn! I love how brutally honest she is in her posts and how she really tells it like it is. Her jargon is so entertaining as well and really enhances her posts.

  3. I like how you started off your blog post with an introduction, in which you discussed Cathy Horyn and the importance of language in fashion blogging. I love the post that you chose to discuss in your blog post and I think it is great that you used so many key terms from the passage you chose. I also really like the background of your blog.

  5. So glad to see you blogged about Prada, I fell in love with this line! The Longs sleeveless coat dresses, and belted coats were a few of my favorite pieces from the collection. Cathy Horyn always posts such descriptive pieces, good analyzation of her work!
